Rouge Education Project

 

Schoolyard Habitat Program

 

The REP Schoolyard Habitat Program is in its second year thanks to the support of the Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project. The objective of the program is to help schools create vibrant, sustainable habitats and an outdoor classroom. To do this the Friends of the Rouge is offering three a small grants and technical support to any school located within the Rouge River Watershed. This is a competitive program and each school that is interested must submit a complete application to be considered. 2008-2009 Grant Kick Off Meeting

If you are interested in applying for the 08/09 grant cycle please attend this free informational meeting to be held on Wednesday September 12th, 2008from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the U of M Dearborn Environmental Interpretive Center, 4901 Evergreen Road, Deaborn, MI 48128.

A light dinner will be provided, teachers and administrators are welcome!
