Healthy Lawn Care Workshop - Thursday, April 15, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:00m at the Bloomfield Township Library, 1099 Lone Pine Road at Telegraph Road. Ecological Gardening for the Rouge River - Monday, April 19 from 9:30am to 11:30am at the SOCWA office and gardens located at 3910 W. Webster in Royal Oak. Advanced gardening courses with a focus on native plants, ecological landscape practices, and rain gardens for the Rouge River. Native Trees and Shrubs for the Home Landscape - Monday, April 26 from 10:00am to 11:00am at 3910 W. Webster in Royal Oak. Tour the SOCRRA/SOCWA Native Landscape Education Site to view a variety of native trees and shrubs suitable for the home landscape. Tour conducted by SOCWA Ecological Gardening Volunteers. Free but advance registration is required.
